Please read carefully as purchasing a flight or gift voucher means acceptance of our terms and conditions and legally bound by them.
Barossa Valley Ballooning Miba Holdings Pty Ltd ACN 131 664 241 ATF Ludlow Family Trust ABN 76 820 506 039 T/A Barossa Valley Ballooning.
1. A minimum deposit of 50% is required on booking and the balance payable at least 14 days before flight day. Gift Vouchers are payable in full at time of purchase. Flight bookings made online and Gift Vouchers purchased online are payable in full at time of purchase.
2. In the event that you have to alter or cancel your booking, certain conditions and costs will apply :
Alterations and cancellations within 7 days of your flight are not permitted and the full cost of the flight will be due and forfeit.
Alterations and cancellations between 7 to 14 days of your flight are at the discretion of Barossa Valley Ballooning and the full cost of the flight may be due and forfeit.
Cancellations will incur an administration charge of $25.00 per person.
Refunds are not available for bookings held on system for longer than 6 months.
Lateness resulting in missed flight or failure to show on flight day will be considered cancellation and the full cost of the flight will be due and forfeit.
Flight Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Flight Vouchers and Gift Vouchers are transferable.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and are not refundable in part or full and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Normal procedures and booking conditions apply to Gift Vouchers once flight day is booked.
3. In the event that Barossa Valley Ballooning cancels the flight :
Optimum conditions must be present before Barossa Valley Ballooning will proceed with a flight as safety is the prime consideration at all times. If adverse weather is forecast or, other safety or operational conditions cannot be met Barossa Valley Ballooning will cancel the flight and passengers will be invited to rebook for another day. Alternatively, a refund (less $25.00 administration fee per person) can be requested excluding Gift Voucher holders who must reschedule.
Refunds are not available for bookings held on system for longer than 6 months.
Barossa Valley Ballooning does not accept any liability for travel and accommodation or any other costs incurred through flight cancellation.
4. Children (6-16 years) must be accompanied by an adult.
5. Who can fly :
i) We do not fly pregnant ladies – please rebook for a later day or transfer your voucher to someone else.
ii) We require all passengers are able to climb into and out of the basket unaided using the footholds in the basket side, should not have had recent surgery or should have consulted their Medical Practitioner if in any doubt about their suitability to go ballooning.
6. We are not permitted to fly the disabled for safety reasons - it is a requirement that passengers are able to climb into and out of the basket unaided.
7. All personal belongings of passengers are carried at their own risk.
8. The Barossa Valley Ballooning Passenger Registration Form must be completed and signed on the morning before the flight.
9. Flights are scheduled for approximately one hour but your Pilot has ultimate discretion.
10. Copyright of photographs and films taken by Barossa Valley Ballooning during the tour will be retained by Barossa Valley Ballooning and, may be used in any medium for publicity without prior consent or payment.
11. Barossa Valley Ballooning operates under Air Operator's Certificate number 1-9KZLV-01 issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
